What is the heart of the system?
Each server is capable of supporting up to 16 cameras. The server has a 250 gig hard drive standard, which translates into recording 24 hours a day for up to 60 days with a 4 camera system. The server can be upgraded to a maximum of 1000 gig of storage for larger systems.
How can I access the system?
The system can be made accessible from anywhere in the world via the internet or local area network. This includes video playback and even controlling camera movements.
Is the system secure?
Our systems operate on a purpose built Linux based Video Server, which makes the system virtually hacker proof. The Linux system also prevents system “freezes” common with other operating systems.
What if the system loses power?
The server will automatically turn itself back on and reboot after a power outage.
